It all started with my dad, William Moss, a Holocaust survivor and true entrepreneur. I grew up helping him in the basement of his department store—pricing items, folding boxes, and sneaking in a bit of shopping for myself whenever I could. I was able to learn the ropes from the best, and let's be honest—I grabbed a few treats for my closet along the way!
Then came the spark from my mom, Phyllis, who dreamed up the name "Out on a Limb." What began with just hosiery and socks soon grew into so much more. Now, thirty years on, we're a cozy neighbourhood boutique filled with all sorts of unique finds.
Excitingly, the family tradition continues as my son Oscar has recently joined us. With fresh ideas and the same spirit of entrepreneurship passed down through generations, he's ready to help us grow and evolve while keeping the essence of what makes our boutique special.
Our store is more than just a place to shop—it's a warm and inviting space where you can treat yourself, pick out a great gift, chat with us, or even bring your furry friend along. Over the years, our team has truly become a family, bonding as great friends who share a passion for what we do. We strive to make everyone feel at home in our cozy boutique.
We are truly grateful for your part in our story. Your support has allowed us to share our warmth and joy with you for many years, and we look forward to many more to come.
