Refund policy

Online Purchases

We are happy to exchange regular-priced merchandise within 14 days of the delivery date, provided it is in its original condition, unworn with tags attached. Online purchases must be exchanged online. Final sale items include all reduced merchandise, intimate apparel, purses/totes, jewelry, silk velvet, pleather, delicate fabrics, and embellished glitter fabrics. We do not offer refunds.

We currently offer online shopping to customers in both Canada and the United States. For U.S. customers, the same exchange policy applies, and store credit will be issued in the form of a digital gift card.

Sorry, we do not offer price matching or price adjustments.

Please note, the item(s) must be returned at your own expense. Alternatively, your order can be dropped off at the store. 

Damages and Issues:

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, or damaged, or if you received the wrong item so that we can correct the issue.

In-Store Purchases:

We are happy to exchange regular-priced merchandise within 7 days of the purchase date, provided it is in its original condition with tags attached. Final sale items include all reduced items, intimate apparel, bags/totes, jewelry, silk velvet, pleather, delicate fabrics, and embellished glitter fabrics. 

We do not offer refunds. Store credit will be issue to use for future in-store purchases. Thank you!

Exchanges

To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with tags attached, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Out on a Limb does not process direct exchanges. We ask that you return the merchandise for a full credit and place a new order for the preferred item(s).

To start this process, contact us at hello@outonalimb.ca. If the return is approved, a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be emailed to you with further instructions on how to send it back. Items sent back to us without first requesting an exchange and without an RMA number will not be accepted.

Please note, the item(s) must be returned at your own expense. Alternatively, your order can be dropped off at the store. 

*Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.*

Out on a Limb is not responsible for packages once they have been dispatched to the carrier. In the event that a package is stolen after delivery, please contact the shipping carrier to file a claim.

International Returns:

We currently ship within Canada and the United States. For customers in the U.S., our exchange policy is the same, but please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We do not offer international returns outside of Canada and the U.S. at this time. Please check back as we update our policy.

Gift Cards:

Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash or refunded. 

Our gift cards are tailored to where you shop! Online gift cards can only be used for purchases made through our website, while in-store gift cards are exclusively for use in our physical store location. This way, you can choose the shopping experience that's best for you!
